WDYTO Wesley?
I knew a woman (only slightly) a long time ago whose then five-year-old son was named Wesley. I like it. I think the nickname Wes is nice too. What do you think of it?

I like Wesley, although I'm not crazy about Westley, West, or Wes. I think it sounds like a dashing hero (perhaps because that was his name in the movie Princess Bride)>

I like itI had a friend in high school named this who went by Wes. He had a lot of admirable qualities, and it made me really consider the name, when I wouldn't have before. I think it's very nice (but only on a boy).

I like it, but prefer Westley.

I dislike itIt sounds sneaky to me, very sly and weasely yet wimpy at the same time.

I love it.

I love it! Wesley Samuel is one of my all-time favorite combos (though it occasionally switches to Samuel Wesley just to change things up a bit)

I like it.I think it's a nice name for a boy or a man, and Wes is really nice and takes away a little of the nancy boy image the name might have. It's also the first name of a musician/writer I really enjoy, though, so I'm biased. =)

I like Wesley ("WEZ-lee") with nn Wes ("WEZ"). It sounds much stronger than "WES-ley" to me. The only Wesleys I know are "WEZ-lee", so I assume "WES-lee" must just be the usual American pronounciation.

I really like Wesley and the nn Wes, I think it's cute and that is grows well.

I love it.I actually prefer the nn Wes to the full name, though (ditto for Mel, Val, Vic and Les). It's a little trendy and a lot of people will find it whiny...but I do like it.
