I read today that Jamelia and the footballer Darren Byfeild have a new baby a girl who they have called Tiani
It says in the paper
Tiani comes from a Greek word meaning Princess and it is also short for Tatiana which means Fairy Queen, graceful Princess and Rainbow lolTiani has a half sister called Teja who was names after the first two letters of her parents names Terry and Jamelia

I think Tiani would be a better nn for something, but i am not sure what.... I love the name Teja but, it's really pretty and i like how it came about, with it being the first two letters of her parents names, its really cute.

Tatiana does not mean any of those things . . .Click the link: Tatiana is of unknown meaning. The "Fairy Princess" myth comes from its similarity to Titania, which means "of the Titans" but was the name of Shakespeare's fairy queen and so is usually associated with her.Tiani could be a nickname for the meaning-unknown Tatiana, but most similar names (Tiana etc) are shortenings of Christiana and Christiane, meaning "Christian".Tiani is a cute nickname but it's nms as a whole name.
