Rosaire
I found this name while searching male French names for the 10-name topic. From research it's not used much at all, at least as a first name. I thought it was very pretty though, the comments said that some people use it as a female name. I think it's one of those names I like for both, like Augustine. Anyway I'm obsessing over it now, it's such a nice find! I'd probably only use it as a middle name though.Do you like Rosaire? Do you prefer it on a male or female? Combo suggestions (first or middle name)?

Hmmm, I never thought about this name, but it's just too "religious" for my taste (means "rosary") and I'm not really into word names (apart from some flower and natural element names). That being said, I could imagine it on a girl and on a boy equally.

Ooh, love it on a boy. Nice find. Here are my combos:
Amadeo Rosaire
Rosaire Leon
Callum Rosaire

Rosaire looks really girly to me too, even though I just looked it up on prenoms.com and it's almost entirely masculine in France. Nice sound, but it's too religious for me.

I like it better for a girl. Seems pretty and strong, but a little too much on the pretty side for a guy.

Yeah, that's why I would never give it as a first name to a boy. I don't think it sounds that bad though. If I heard someone say "Hi I'm John Rosaire (JAHN ro-ZER)" I'd probably wouldn't think it was as girly as seeing it written down. Perhaps it's the "Rosa" part for me, even though it's not said.

Oh, I love it as a middle name! Sorry I missed that part, I'm at work, and I guess I skimmmed by it.
I would use it as a first name for a girl, OR a middle name for a boy.

I like it but only on girls. I think it sounds girly, since it reminds me of Rosalie.
