Jacinda
I saw an episode of "Supernanny" today in which a couple had a baby daughter named Jacinda. Jacinda wasn't a problem, it was her older sisters who were.I thought about how nice it is to see a rare name like Jacinda used for a baby and about how pretty the name is. In my opinion, anyway. What do you think of Jacinda?

I prefer Lucinda, but I like Jacinda. It's spunky.

Jacinda was quite common in Australia when I was growing up, along with Jacinta. I like both a lot, though I think Jacinta sounds crisper. I'd probably use Jacinta, but not Jacinda.

I love it! It was one of my top 5 at one time. It manages to sound strong yet sweet at the same time. I had it paired up as Jacinda Clarice. Glad to hear of someone using it :0)

I find myself wanting to change the d to a t... and then I like it.

Jacinda is rare and pretty! It's kind of exotic without being trendy and attention-seeking. I think I prefer Jacinta though. I pronounce them the same except for the d and the t.

I prefer JacintaOr actually Racinda, if it were an option :) It's a GP of mine
I want to pronounce Jacinda as "juh-SIN-duh" whereas I pronounce Jacinta as "yuh-SINT-uh"
