I think Hugo is a nice name.

I think it sounds clunky so I'm not a fan of it for anyone.

I love it. It's handsome on any age.

I like it enough to use, given enough sons. I prefer Hugh, but it's got pronunciation issues where I live. Hugo has never been popular enough to be associated with a particular age group, so it's fine for all ages.

love it. Totally cute and very manly too. Short -o boy names are very in right now and Hugo is on the rise.

I think it's sweet on a boy and handsome on a man. :) Also bookish and and a little naive, not in a bad way.

Years ago I didn't like the name Hugo, but over the years it has grown on me more and more. Now I find it quite spunky and both a good fit for a child and an adult.

I have a very strong association with this name with a pit-mix (that is, dog) I knew who just died at age 16.That said, I think it's a very strong name, that certain people could pull off. My sister named her youngest and fourth child Jethro wanting to give him something that would allow him to stand out. Hugo seems similar to me.Looking up the etymology, it has a beautiful meaning! "Heart, mind, spirit." It gets lots of points for that.

I don't think it's ok period. It's too old fashioned and nerdy
