I know a little girl named thisI think it's miserable for every reason Chrisell stated below.

I don't care for it. What's really odd is, I was just looking at the same idea last night. Creepy. It sounds slick and sly to me .. maybe because of the similarity of sound to "wisely" and my extension of that to "weaselly"? Or, the word "eyes" in it followed by -ley seems .. leering? I'm not sure. Anyway, it strikes me as unappealing, or negative somehow, if it were a girl's or woman's name.- chazda

They're a really dull band, and an even less enticing name. No, thanks.Array (who does have to admit a love of Edelweiss, though)

You might even provide a Heaven for them. We need You for that. Hell we can make for ourselves.Russ Feingold is a hero.

As in . . .Mos Eisley Spaceport, "A most wretched hive of scum and villainy"? ("Star Wars").I think there's thousands of lovely girls' names out there without using random surname-like names. What about Isla, Elise, Elsie, Ellice, Elissa, Ailsa?

I have to disagree with you there.
And, I also didn't get it from star wars.
probably because I'm not familiar with it and it always had kind of bothered me when I was younger.
I just heard it and thought it was a very nice name.
I wasn't aware it had any tying to that.
