Sylvana combos?
Sylvana is a name that I've loved on-and-off over the years. There was a short time where I thought I preferred the Italian spelling, Silvana (which I also think is more common / popular), but that has passed. The name also has some connection to my family tree: my grandma's youngest sister is Sylvia, and their father was Sylvester (originally Silvestro, but he Americanized his name when he came to the U.S.).There's one problem, though: I can't come up with good combos.Right now I'm working with Sylvana Vale. I like the way it looks, but I'm wondering if it's too on-the-nose as far as nature names are concerned. I've also considered Sylvana Clara (Clara is the aforementioned Sylvia's middle name, and my great-grandma was Ethel Clara), but I'm unsure of the flow there. Sylvana Tesni was a combo I had in my top names 10 years ago, but I think Tesni looks better with the Silvana spelling (which I'm not using).Otherwise, I'm stumped, and open to pretty much any suggestions!***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Of the combos you've posted, I think Sylvana Colette is the prettiest.

Thank you for your response! I like:Sylvana Tamsin (I like the sound, but I'm not sure about how it looks)
Sylvana Lenore
Sylvana Catherine (or maybe... Sylvana Catharyn?)
Sylvana Laurel
Sylvana Rosalie
Sylvana Lilith (and I don't normally like Lilith)
Sylvana Gwendolen / Sylvana Gwendolyn

I love Sylvana (this spelling) too! It’s more interesting and also more spunky than Sylvia imo.
I don’t like Sylvana Vale at all! It sounds like a town and there are too many v’s and l’s. Vale as a name is also kind of morbid! Sylvana Clara is nice, flow is fine. Sylvana Tesni is mismatched imo but not awful.Suggestions:
Sylvana Carys
Sylvana Edith
Sylvana Florence (too clunky?)
Sylvana Joy
Sylvana Juliet
Sylvana Rosalie
Sylvana Pearl
Sylvana Briar or Briony
Sylvana Emilie
Sylvana Eydis
Sylvana Margot
Sylvana Iris
Sylvana Beatrice

Lol @ housing development! Yeah, I'm not keeping the combo.Sylvana Coral is interesting - I think it flows better than Sylvana Clara, which is what I'd been considering. I also like Sylvana Pearl and Sylvana Zoe (I don't think I'd use the dieresis, though).
