Practice exercise for Count-Along-CAF
For those who aren't quite sure how a count-along-caf works I've tried making a practice CAF. You can partake, ask questions and there are exercises.
EXPLANATION how a count-along-CAF works:The family:
DW:
DD: The namebank: [Ada Raine Virginia Claudia Audrey Poppy Clementine Kit Honor Halle Elizabeth Wren Ottilie Alexandra Rhiannon Rose]You throw the dice twice and your get 2 & 3. Count from the beginning so Ada (1) Raine (2). We now have a first name. Then for her middle name you'll continue counting after the name Raine, which in this case is Virginia. Virginia (1), Claudia (2), Audrey (3). And now you have a full name: Raine Audrey. Throw the dice again for the daughter's name. Let's say 5 & 5. You start counting with the name after the last name you've used, which in this case is the name after Audrey which is Poppy. Poppy (1), Clementine (2), Kit (3), Honor (4), Halle (5). Halle is the daughter's first name.
EXERCISE 1: Now it's up to you. Count along 5 for her middle name. What is Halle's middle name?
EXERSICE 2: What are the names of DH & DS?NAMEBANK: [Aubrey Hamish Stuart Darcy August George Jesse Rune Sebastian James Caspar Maximilian Corbin Harold Monty Jake Thomas Rory]DH: (dice says 4 & 5)
DS: (dice says 7 & 9)
Now there's a trick as you can see that you have to count 9 but there are no more names in the namebank. In this case you continue the count at the beginning of the namebank. Let's say you have to count from the name Thomas:Aubrey (3), Hamish (4) etc (beginning of the namebank)
Thomas (1), Rory 2), (end of the namebank)I hope this helps! Bels ⭐️
