Muir struck me as a feminine name at first, and then I realized that was probably because of the movie "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir". But obviously that was her ln not her fn. :b I don't adore the sound of it, but the meaning is nice and I can definitely deal with it as a mn. And I love Ronan. So Ronan Muir gets a thumbs-up from me. :)
