[Opinions] Re: Bastian and Solveig.

For a moment there I though you where Danish given the fact that both those names are used in Denmark...
1) I like Bastian. I (unlike the others, who have replied) do in fact like Sebastian, so I think Bastian is decent. I like Sebastian more, though. I would pronounce it BAS-tee-an.
2) Solveig I would pronounce the only way I know; the Danish way: SOOL-vai.
The 'Sol' part is NOT like Sol, the nn for Solomon. In fact the 'L' is a bit "hushed"; the weight is on the 'SO' and the 'O' is a bit drawned out.
'vai' is like Kai only with a v instead of a k.
I like Solveigs modern meaning as well - it means Sun road in modern Danish.
