[Facts] Mapuche origin
Sorry I didn't think to respond to this before.Although it may still be possible that on occasion Hispanic Americans have used Ailyn simply as a "Hispanicized" spelling of Eileen, in South America it evidently is primarily thought of as a name from the Mapuche language, as discussed in the following former thread on this board:http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=3252711&board=gen
