Of course they aren't too similar. Alexandra and Alexandria wouldn't even be too similar. They are cousins, not sisters so it shouldn't matter.
Cassandra is nice but I only like it in its full form. No Cass, no Cassie, Sandra, Sandy etc just Cassandra. It has been used a bit in the 80s so it feels a bit dated. Still I like it a lot.
