I sure hope it's not dated to the 80s! I like it as a NN for Natalia (not by itself). I don't think NN's are inevitable - I know two Natashas - one doesn't get called by a NN, and for the other one, it is her NN (she's from Ukraine). I never thought of it in a stripper context - I don't think you have to worry about that.
