I'm not crazy about it. My cat's name is Gertrude but we exclusively call her Rudy :)
(She was named so because her and her siblings were given tentative family names while they waited for adoption at my parents house... I never really liked the name Gertrude, Gertie or Trudy though so I started calling her Rudy. The name stuck and when I decided to bring her home nothing else seemed to fit)
So Rudy and Tru are the only nns I like
