The only Bruno I have ever known was my glamorous French cousin Marion's stuck-up boyfriend, who was gorgeous, magnificently sneery and utterly contemptuous of idiot rosbifs trying to practise their crappy French on him. So it sort of fits your cat, because I can see that he's trying to do gorgeous, magnificently sneery etc etc. Unfortunately for him, I also see adorable kittyness which is overriding the rest a bit. It's still a good name, though, and yup I do think it suits him
Bru fits perfectly for me as a gingery name because I instantly think of Irn Bru, which is a bright orange Scottish fizzy pop drink made from rusty girders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irn-Bru)
Geronimo is fun and Cosmo is good but I like Bruno better.
