it sounds a little kitschy (Blaze) and looks a bit weak to me.
plus, I could see him getting Blaze written, or joked about, and/or people saying it either Blaze OR Blays and that being annoying. not that it's a name that would really be made fun of a lot, but i just don't think it's a great name. Better than Blaine, though.
