Additional info: Alex is originally from Chicago, and Norah is Colorado. Alex was drawn to adventure in CO after a childhood trip, so he decided to go to a university there and study journalism. There, he met Norah, a fellow aspiring journalist. They fell in love, and after they got married, spent several years traveling the world together. They moved back to Chicago where they currently live in a small apartment downtown. Now, they are ready to start a family. Once their family expands, they are planning on moving to a bigger house in the suburbs and they'd love to travel more in the future, but for now, they are settling down in Chicago. Alex is fluent in both Spanish and Italian, while Norah can speak German, some Spanish, some Portuguese, and some Arabic. They are both Protestant Christians and plan to raise their children in the religion.
Adoption information
1) What age ranges do they want the children to be? Preferably younger, but are considering older children and pregnant teens.
2) Whereabouts in the world do they want to adopt from? Anywhere
3) Would they adopt multiples (twins/triplets/etc)? Sure
4) Would they adopt children with health issues? Yes, but only mild issues
5) Is religion/language important? Would they adopt children who don't currently speak their language? If they hold a particular religious belief (or are atheist/secular), would they adopt children from outside that background? Religion and language are not important, but they will raise their children as Christians
6) Are they hoping to have their own biological children? They are hoping, but are not sure if it will actually happen
7) Do they have a preference of gender? No
8) Other considerations: Optional. Any other information which doesn't fit above - would they like to foster as well as / rather than adopt? Would they foster/adopt pregnant teens? Are they fond of any humanitarian causes which might influence how they adopt? They would like only to adopt, and aren't completely sure if they'd like pregnant teens, but they are warming up to the idea.
