[Opinions] Re: Liliana
in reply to a message by Felie
Oh thanks! I am excited too! I am so happy they have statistics now. But technically they should also be able to create a top 100 from as early as 1900. Do you remember the link to the book you sent me? In the preview I saw that it has the data taken twice per decade (e.g. 1941, 1946, 1951, 1956) from 1900 on and they also have a list from 1876 or something. They have the data for Rome, Bologna and Palermo so as they have data from a city in the north, a city in the south and one in between they should be able to create one for Italy using these data sets. It would be so interesting to see!Lilia is nice too! I like it. Yes, Liliana seems unfashionable in Italy now. I wonder if it will make a comeback. Does it sound super dated to you? I know it came as high as #2 sometime in the 20s. Does Lily work in Italy on its own?

Hi !!Lily?
No it doesn't work.Less than five Lily every year since 1999 to 2015.
No increasing. It is quite strange because it is as simple as Emily...and Emily is very trendy nowadays! It is #47! It is crazy! Why not Lily which is so similar and so simple for our grammar and quite familiar too?I don't understand Italian trends! They have no sense TT.Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
