Aphra is one of my favorite names, actually! I definitely prefer the Aphra spelling - not only for the look, but because it's the name of Aphra Behn, the first woman in recorded history to be able to financially support herself solely through her writing. Oh, and she was also a spy for Charles II of England. Basically she was awesome.
