[Opinions] I have a hard time with Stephen.
All I see is STEF-en. Looking at it I *want* to say STEF-en, but more than half of the time Stephens are actually STEE-vens. I can't get my mind around Stephen King's name even though I know it's STEE-ven. I always end up correcting myself halfway through the name (STEF-en Kiiiii--STEEEVEN KING! STEEEVEN KING!)... it's quite embarassing sometimes. I have a similar problem with grammar. If someone writes "they're turn to play", I'll read it as "they are turntoplay" and it'll screw me up royally. It takes me a while to go back and fix it in my head. I read too literally. It's so horribly confusing for me. Aside from that, I don't like the names aesthetically, and I dislike the way both pronunciations sound.
