[Opinions] How many people know your middle name?
Srsly. Some of my best friends don't even know mine.I find it slightly ridiculous that people always bring up the argument that kids will be teased about their middle names. Unless you go around introducing yourself by your full name, not many people are going to know your middle name. And the other posters have made valid points that Harry and James are incredibly common and most people wouldn't make the connection. And even if they DID make a connection, what are they going to say? Oh, you've got the same name as Harry Potter. That's kind of silly. But the books were cool. It's nothing truly tease-worthy. It could be much worse is all I'm sayin'.

And isn't ...Harry Potter a 'cool guy' to kids? I'd think being names 'after' him would be great for a 6-year-old:-)

Well, when I was a kid, it was very cool to hate Harry Potter. ;P I agree that him sharing his first and middle name with Mr. Potter isn't going to cause a lot of problems. If I wasn't a name nerd, I wouldn't even know most of my friends' middle names.
