[Opinions] Is a disease
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Addison%27s_diseaseIf you like this vein of naming, I also heartily recommend Hodgkin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hodgkin%27s_lymphomaor perhaps Harlequin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlequin_type_ichthyosisor Rubella http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RubellaYes yes, Addison was a surname first. And by all means, use it if you have an Addison in the family tree to honour. But be forewarned about the disease connection. I would have been mortified to learn there was an illness with my name as a child.

Yet people still use them, it's not that bad IMO except for Candida which is a yeast infection (eh) so that's the only name unusable IMO.
