I really don't like Agnes at all. I think the sound is very harsh and unattractive and the whole name is kind of abrupt. I do love the nn Aggie though. I think I prefer Agatha as a full name for Aggie but I am not really overly keen on any name that could possibly lead to Aggie as a nn :-(
