[Opinions] Re: Alys.
I had a colleague once, an English teacher of high school mathematics, who was an Alys; so it's got a lively, intelligent, energetic vibe for me.I'd try to stay medieval for a mn if at all possible. OK, they mostly didn't use mns in the actual Middle Ages, but Alys Tegan would be awful, for instance, and Alys Theresa could be considered. I'd like Alys Margery!

Thanks!Your okay tends to mean a lot because you have - I suppose it's slightly rude term - horse sense when it comes to names. :-DI like Alys Theresa, especially as it brings to mind Teresa of Avila.

That's a real compliment - thank you too!And as a reward, may I share one of my favourite poems?One day the God of War
Was riding on his filly;
"I'm Thor!" he cried
And the horse replied,
"You've forgotten your thaddle, you thilly."Horse sense that really appeals to me ...
