[Opinions] What about Scarlett "Scottie"?
I've been considering Scarlett 'cause it's similar to Scott [as in Scott Gill]. As much as I love the idea of names like Tate and Robin on girls, I could never do it. It just feels... kind o' dodgy. I can't say I like Cypress, either. It just doesn't sound like a name. If I had to choose, though, I'd go with Victoria Cypress.

You rock.Scarlett "Scottie" is incredible. It's my new favorite name/nickname pair (even though I won't use it 'cause it's yours), even above Olivette "Lettie"!I have to say, Tate and Robin on girls doesn't bother me at all. They're both pretty well established, and you could do far worse. Mind you, this is coming from someone who in an ideal world would be able to name a girl Isidore (am I the only one who thinks Isidore sounds feminine?) and a boy Anna. I guess gender only means something to me because it means something to everyone else.I don't think Cypress sounds like a name either, but a lot of names I like don't sound like names, if that makes sense. Like Freedom or Amethyst or Clover. The words themselves just have qualities that I think make the names that they're with more special.

Ha ha. Don't let me stop you from using it! It was just something I was playing around with. I have a friend that would murder me if I named girls Tate and Robin [she lives in the US, but she probably fly here to do it]. Yes, I think Isidore sounds feminine too! I remember watching that Disney film, Jump In, and thinking "Isidore? What?! Surely that's a girls' name!" I suppose Cypress isn't that bad, really, it'd just take me some getting used to.

Thank you! Scarlett "Scottie" is going on my list!Bah! Well, at least she cares. I suppose you could always use Tatiana and Robina or something. It's like a revolution! I'm feeling bolder by the minute, gender restrictions be damned!Cypress took some getting used to for me also, and it's not my favorite. Still not sure if I actually like it on a girl. But why not experiment?

Awesome :) I'm not sure about Robina, reminds me of the Ribena drink, but I quite like Tatiana "Tate"... Just don't tell my friend that I've been encouraging you!

Isidore!I LOVELOVE Isidore on a girl. The way I love Eugene on a girl. I think Isidore is just the right amount of obsolete boyishness and delicacy that makes it so perfect. I would for real use Isidore over Isidora.I mean I still like it for a boy too, but for a girl it just shines, shines, shines.

REALLY?!?! YES! I am not a freak! *happy*P.S. Eugene on a girl is so awesome! Would she be the coolest girl ever or what? I'm seeing a skate-boarding, rainbow colored nails wielding girl who dreams of owning a book and occult store in San Francisco.
