I like Giselle/Gisele more.Why would Gis be made fun of?I think Gisele is beautiful (partly because of the model Gisele Bundchen, lol)! GiGi is a cute nn.

you're right but...I'm not sure that term is used anywhere but parts of North America. Also, the correct pr. of Giselle is Gheee-zelle. Not the hard emphasis on GIS-elle.of course, the problem with ethnic names is that nobody pronounces them right in English speaking countries. Oh well.
