People talk about it as a skin color. Maybe because of the Ricky Martin song? That's what makes me not like it. It sounds more objectifying than a common food name like Sage or even a weird one like Tofu.
IRL, I don't think it'd be worse than Tawny or Velvet (and I have met both), whatever that tells you. I do like the sound itself.
