Nibhanupudi is the name of a village in Andhra Pradesh, India. My last name is Nibhanupudi since my family had roots in this village. Pudi in my native language "Telugu" means village but I am not sure what exactly Nibhanupudi means.

Nibhanu is a corruption of Sanskrit NIRVAHANA, 'completion, accomplishment' (compare modern Hindi verb NIBHANAA, 'to be accomplished, completed, fulfilled').
