From a Russian name site that I use for Slavic names, it looks like the root of Sutryk may be related to Suda, or "judge".
Garrison is rather obvious, from a French word meaning somethinbg like "troops that are in a fort"

Interesting ...my reply was just from a baby name book ...but they often don't list any additional possibilities ...
