Where does Lillicrap come from, it's not the most pleasant of surnames - but im curious as to it's meaning!

The origin of Lillicrap is English. It is a variation of the name Lillicrop, meaning someone who had very fair hair. I found this information in a surname book at the library.

I'm making a wild guess and say that it might mean 'little crap', as in 'you little crap!' or 'you little shit!' Something like that, I think, but I might be wrong.

Unlikely as the word crap only came in with Crapper's invention of the toilet. this was around 1850ish and surnames generally come from pre 1500.
