What does my surname (Arellano) mean? I've looked everywhere on the web and it's never listed.

Looking at an Italian dictionary, the closest I could get was "arenato" which means stranded or beached or a strand which is a beach ...the last part of the name is obviously a diminutive, but maybe the L and R difference is regional or occurred upon immigration.
