Here in the south, we say del uh fave, accent on the first syllable. Del LA fa vee , accent on the second syllable, is popular with telemarketers, but is unacceptable. Some people of Italian extraction are fond of Day le Fahv, which is closer to the Italian roots of the name and not offensive.
