My great grandfather John Robert Cruickshanks owned a gold mine in outside Nowra on the South Coast of NSW Australia durng the mid to late 19th century. He married Elizabeth Mary UTICK and his brother Walter George Cruickshanks married her sister Sarah Louisa. I have no idea the ethnic origin of the UTICK sisters. Any info would be fantastic as it has been very difficult to find out anything about these sisters.
