My grandfather's family name is Honnoll. His family came from the south in the Mississippi/Alabama area. I haven't been able to find any information on the orgin of this name. Our family has used it in the form of Honnell but this is only from my grandfather b/c when he joined the army they misspelled it. The original form is Honnoll. Just wondering if anyone had heard of it?
