A google yields evidence that Fundyler is Jewish and of Eastern European origin. Also that there are spellings Fundiler and Fundieler, doubtless the same name. Other than that, nothing.
The -er ending, Yiddish or German, suggests the name comes from either a place name or an occupational name, or perhaps from some official position.

Is it possible that this surname is made up of two surnames? Maybe something like Fund and Lehr, both German. Perhaps Fundyler was created in a marriage of Fund and Lehr families or something like that.
