I was wondering about the meaning of Gilzenberg the name of my maternal Grandmother. She was of Jewish-Austrian descent. I already know "berg" means mountain but am still unsure of Gilzen. My only idea is it is related to "gilben" to yellow but this is a mere guess on the fact they sound similar. Any ideas?
