All I know is the ethnic background is Dutch. Anyone know the meaning, or anything else of interest?

it means "from Vonderen". There's a place called Het Vonderen in Limburg. Might also be from farms called likewise.

i have to add that there's also Van Wonderen as a surname, but i can't find the meaning of it.
