That depends on what your surname is! I personally would not use my own surname as a childs name "Hartridge" or a surname such as Smith. However some surnames work very well. Such as Llwyd (or Lloyd), Rowan or Jackson

So Id say asses whether or not the surname you have in mind would look and sound right as a first name! :)
