looking for help finding a meaningful surname for a literary character
I'm actually a writer looking for an interesting surname for a character, one that has a double meaning, a mystical meaning, maybe something to do with wisdom or rebirth, i'm hoping some creative individual who knows something about surnames can help me out, or even just names in general as it really doesn't have to be an existing surname. I like the idea of Zofya, but i think it might sound to feminine (sophia). I thought of St. Clair, as it means holy light and also has all those mystical associations, but then its too used thanks to dan brown, so no. I thought something like hesperos, or lucero to do with the morning/evening star, but it doesn't really say very much. I prefer something more obscure. Can be from any ethnic origin but i would rather not use an arabic/persian or indian name, celtic would be good, european, etc
