I am doing research on the surname Vesecky. I was told today that this surname is of German origin, but according to what I found today, I believe it is Czech or Slovak in origin. I didn't find the exact spelling of Vesecky but did find these spellings....Vacek-Czech, Vacik, Vasek. I also found the spelling Vaclav which is of masculine gender and usage is Czech, Slovak. I am researching these two first names which have the surname of Vesecky. The first name is Stanislav Vesecky and his wifes' name was Eraniziska Vesecky. They also have a grandson who is alive and his name is Karl Vesecky. I'm hoping that somebody could let me know if I'm on the right track as far as the origin of the surname Vesecky or if it has some other origin. My email is karen_moellenberndt@excite.com
