Re: Pronunciation of Iocabescu?
Are you sure of the spelling? I would have expected Iacobescu, "son of Jacob", but maybe Iocab is the Romanian form of Jacob (anybody own a Romanian Bible?)
So it's yo-kabbess-koo, or yah-kubess-koo, depending on the spelling. In either case the stress is on the -ESC- syllable.

Thank you! I thought it might mean "son of Jacob" so now I know I'm not just being random. ¦DThis helps very much. :)______________________________"....A simple I love you means more than money...."- Frank Sinatra

I hang my head in shame! Iocabescu is the correct spelling. How could I have doubted it? Not the first time I've made a fool of myself on this message board.
