Your name comes from greek 'Stefanos' (=Stephanos, Stephen , Steven etc). Please have a look at http://www.behindthename.com for the meaning of 'Stefanos' and its variants in different languages.
Regarding the ending, I suppose that in slavic languages means the
'son of' (a common way to form family names in many languages).

Slavic endings
-ov/-ev/-ic are the common Slavic endings. The endings -evski/ovski were instituted in Macedonia in the 1940s to help ethnic Macedonians differentiate themselves from Serbs and Bulgarians.

There are two possibilities for Stefanovski:
1. "Stefan" (Engl. Stephen, Russian Stepan) is a male Christian name. "Stefanovo" is a name of village. "Stefanovski" can be the family name for a person having his origins in "Stefanovo".
2. "Stefan" (Stephen) is a male Christian name. "Stefanov" (Russian Stepanov) is a family name for the "sons of Stefan". Decades ago, in the land presently known as FYROM (Rep. of Macedonia), people having the family name "Stefanov" were forced to change it to "Stefanovski".
