PURSINI at the moment doesn't exist in Italy. Perhaps PORSINI existed but it was too rare.
PORCINI still exist it is a surname from MESSINA area, Eastern Sicily.
So was it the real surname PORCINI, a name from a nickname that means
pork or pig?
In Italy many persons have changed names that refers to a pig.
Was your surname changed as well and americanized?
