I'm trying to find out about the more common surnames associated with the Shona people, plus their meanings if possible. I've managed to pick up a handful of names that, at least, I believe are common names in Zimbabwe: Marufu, Zimunya, Muzenda, Tendai, and the most common I've found is Moyo. However, I don't know if any of these names are specifically associated with the Shona, or if they're from other cultures in the area.
