These names are Italian. I looked in an Italian Dictionary, & the word baglio means "beam or midship beam". Does the surname Baglio has something to do with a beam or midship beam ? Does Darko refer to one who had dark hair or skin, or one who wore dark colored clothes ? Does Demestre refer to one who was a domestic (a housewife) ? I've looked in various surname books, & I can't find the meanings of these names anywhere. What do Baglio, Darko, & Demestre mean ?
