I have the surname Spokony, I have not encountered or heard of anyone with this name outside of my own family. I know that it is of Russian origin because it is similar to the pronunciation of the Russian word for calm when written phonetically. If anybody can give me any info or just an idea of how to go about learning more I would be very grateful.
