We heard that great grandfather's name, Dulon, was Scottish. This is how it is spelled today. Would like to confirm that it is Scottish or not. There's so many spellings of it and I've also heard that various spellings of the name was irish. Please help. Thank you.

Dulon is an americanization of French Dulong as you can see at http://tinyurl.com/oleyua5. The name Dulong comes from Le Long, a common place name in France.

Dulon existe in Southern France as well. In Dublin too possibly.
