What is the better surname?
Hello, next month I will be legally changing my name. I have the given and middle name figured out, but I'm having trouble deciding on the surname. My two choices are either Sova or Mirabeau. Any feedback would be great, thank you.
P.S. Sova is a family related surname. Sova is technically a polish Surname, but its roots in reference to my family are actually French. The surname Sova for my ancestors who immigrated over to Canada from France originally had the surname Sauvé, but for some reason there was a mix up when they immigrated and ended up having there name misinterpreted as Sova instead of the original French name. Sova, according to wiki and other sources, means owl, also another spelling for Sova is Sowa. Sauvé, according to some sources, was originally a nickname for someone who had had a narrow escape, or from a personal name with a religious significance referring to Christian salvation. In essence this surname means "saved".
I got Mirabeau from my favorite historical French politician and statesman, Honoré Gabriel Riqueti, comte de Mirabeau.
