My grandmother emigrated from Holland to America via Canada down through Wisconsin to Iowa, then to Michigan. Her family name was Ver Hof. I have been unable to find any record of that name nor its meaning. Can anyone help? My Great Grandfathers name was Garrit or Gerrit ver Hof.
