Ivanov(a) is listed as Ukrainian surname on the site. It is NOT Ukrainian. It is just very prevalent in Ukraine because ethnic Russians are like 20% of Ukraine and Ivanov(a) is very common Russian surname.

Ridni shows that most Ivanov(a)s are mostly in Kyiv (diverse city) and otherwise biased towards the Russian side of Ukraine.

Forebears agrees with Ridni. (It registers Ukrainian bearers as Yvanov(a) due to transcription issues)
